Length:
62:56
Original Webinar Date:
8/22/2024

Knee injuries constitute 41% of all sports-related injuries, with 20% specifically involving the ACL. Furthermore, knee injuries account for 44.1% of game-related injuries in the NBA. These common injuries can sideline professional and amateur athletes alike, often involving a long road to recovery. Laser therapy, also known as photobiomodulation (PBM), can offer substantial benefits for a variety of knee injuries.

In this free webinar, Dr. Christopher Carraway and special guest Dr. Timothy Demchak will explore the use of laser therapy in managing general knee pain, chronic patellar tendinopathies, strains, sprains, and meniscal tears. Additionally, they will discuss how integrating PBM into existing rehabilitation protocols can reduce treatment durations, alleviate pain, and enhance overall outcomes in knee injury patients.

Key Talking Points Will Include:

- Using laser therapy to manage common knee conditions like strains, sprains and meniscal tears

- How photobiomodulation demonstrates efficacy in managing chronic knee conditions without drugs

- Protocols to enhance rehabilitation for knee injuries and getting patients back to exercise faster
